At the end of 2022 Nailsea Shedders received a request from Yatton and Congresbury Wildlife Action Group to make 20 swift boxes that would be installed on houses in the area.
Nailsea Shedders were pleased to accept the challenge and a team set about cutting sheets of exterior plywood and drilling and gluing them together. Swifts prefer a dark interior and a white exterior and the boxes were painted accordingly. The boxes were
delivered in two batches in February and March, and we are pleased to see the boxes being installed ready for use next winter.
